HUAWEI just announced the nova Flip, the company’s latest flip-type foldable under its nova series, as promised. This sits in the mid-premium category of the brand, offering a youthful “matrix collection” design with attractive colors for young audiences.
It features a lightweight design, weighing just 195g and is 6.88mm thin. HUAWEI employed its own water drop hinge mechanism to reduce the gap when folded. The company claims to have obtained Switzerland SGS certification for 1.2 million times bend durability.
The nova Flip features a 2.14″ OLED outer screen, a 6.94″ Full HD+ LTPO inner screen, runs HarmonyOS 4.2, and includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 32MP front shooter, and a 4400mAh battery with 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge technology.
HUAWEI has implemented HarmonyOS AI Fun on the device, letting users utilize the outer screen in a fun manner. There will be animations during calls, pet animations, DIY wallpapers, and interactive themes that let you play mini-games. Apart from these, users can use the outer screen for quick actions on popular apps, for shooting photos, and more.

The HUAWEI nova Flip comes in a new green, zero-degree white, cherry pink, and star black (leather) colors and is priced at CNY 5288 (USD 741 / Rs. 62,298 approx.) for 256GB, CNY 5688 (USD 797 / Rs. 67,005 approx.) for 512GB, and CNY 6488 (USD 909 / Rs. 76,430 approx.) for 1TB variant. It is already available for pre-order in China.
