Samsung Galaxy A06 with 6.7″ display, 5000mAh battery announced


Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy A06 budget phone in the ‘A series’ in Vietnam, after it surfaced in press renders recently. This has a 6.7-inch LCD screen, which the company says is the largest screen size on the Galaxy A series to date. There is a 8MP camera inside the notch.

It runs Android 14 with One UI on top, and Samsung has confirmed 4 years of security updates and 2 generation of OS upgrades.

The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

Pricing and availability

Samsung Galaxy A06 is priced at 3,190,000 Vietnamese dong (USD 127 / Rs. 10,675 approx.) for the 4GB + 64GB model and the 6GB + 128GB model costs 3,790,000 Vietnamese dong (USD 151 / Rs. 12,685 approx.).

It will go on sale in Vietnam starting from August 22nd, and those who gets the phone within September 30th will get 0% instalment promotion for 4 months and a free 25W charger.
