iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max color options surface

Apple is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series next month, and recent leaks have unveiled fresh details about the upcoming models.

According to renowned leaker Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial) on X (formerly Twitter), the iPhone 16 Pro line-up will be available in four distinct colors: White, Black, Gold, and Gray.

This aligns with an earlier leak by Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson), who showcased iPhone 16 Pro dummy units in these expected color options.

iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max Colors

A newly shared image by Majin Bu highlights the camera lens rings of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, further confirming the leaked color options.

All iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max colors will feature the “Titanium” label, indicating the removal of the previously available Natural and Blue options.

Additionally, the leak introduces a new color called “Desert Titanium,” described as a dark gold hue. This shade is expected to be a discreet and deep color, comparable to the Deep Purple of the iPhone 14 Pro.

The “Desert Titanium” color is set to take the place of the “Blue Titanium” from the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. The new color options will include White Titanium, Black Titanium, and Natural Titanium, with the latter showcasing a more Gray finish and the Black Titanium appearing notably darker this year.

Earlier reports suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro might return to a polished finish, similar to the stainless steel finishes seen on iPhones from the X to the 14 Pro. The leaked camera lens rings support this speculation.

Additionally, initial rumors of a “Rose Gold” finish have been contradicted by these recent leaks, which indicate a bronze-like color instead.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Colors

In contrast to the Pro models, the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to feature brighter and more vibrant colors, including Blue, Green, and Pink, alongside Black, Pink, and White.

Dummy models shared by Sonny Dickson reveal a vertically aligned dual-camera setup, reminiscent of the iPhone 12 from 2020. Notably, the square camera island, seen since the iPhone X and iPhone XS series, is absent in these new models.

Launch date?

As the expected launch date approaches, between September 6th and 10th, 2024, more details are likely to emerge, offering further insights into Apple’s iPhone 16 series.
