vivo Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards 2024 announced in India


In celebration of World Photography Day, vivo India has unveiled the second edition of its Imagine Smartphone Photography Awards. This initiative aims to inspire creativity and encourage photographers to explore new perspectives using their smartphones.

Jury and Categories

The awards will be judged by a distinguished panel led by writer and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. The jury also includes renowned photographers Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa, and Aamir Wani.

The competition features six categories:

  • Nature & Wildlife
  • Architecture
  • Portraits
  • Night & Light
  • Motion
  • Street Photography
Submission and Evaluation

The jury will select 30 finalists from the submissions. These finalists will then face a final challenge, providing them with a few days to complete and submit their work. They will also have the chance to attend masterclasses conducted by Vineet Vohra, Rakesh Pulapa, and Aamir Wani.

Prizes and Finale

The top six finalists will be invited to the grand finale in Mumbai. The grand prize winner will receive INR 5 lakhs in cash, while each of the six category winners will be awarded a vivo X100 Pro smartphone.

How to Enter

Participants can submit entries via the official vivoimagine.com website from August 19 to September 8, 2024, including basic information, category selection, and image uploads.
