HONOR has announced its participation in the IFA 2024 event in Berlin, set for next month, with the theme “AI Unfold Your Magic.”
The company will launch the HONOR Magic V3, HONOR MagicPad 2, and HONOR MagicBook Art 14 for the global markets at this event, following their initial release in China last month.
HONOR Magic V3
Before its global debut, HONOR highlighted the slim design of the Magic V3, which weighs 226g and is only 9.2mm thick when folded, making it the thinnest inward-foldable phone available. The device’s key features include:
Advanced Battery Technology: The third-generation Silicon-carbon battery, containing up to 10% silicon, offers a more compact size without compromising performance.
Super Fiber Material: The back cover is made of a fiber material with a strength of 5800MPa, which is stronger and lighter than Kevlar and carbon fiber.
Super Steel Hinge: The second-generation Super Steel hinge, with a tensile strength of 2100MPa, is just 2.84mm thick, providing additional space for structural reinforcement.
Titanium Vapor Chamber: This vapor chamber, made from titanium, is the thinnest in the industry at 0.22mm, increasing the heat dissipation area by 22%, reducing weight by 40%, and improving performance by 53% over the previous version.
Guinness World Record Challenge
HONOR also collaborated with Guinness World Record holder Bryan Berg, who will attempt to build the tallest house of cards within 8 hours, without glue. The lightweight HONOR Magic V3, at 226g, will be placed on top of the structure to demonstrate its minimal weight.
