Apple has officially announced its special event on September 9th, after rumours which said it will be on the 10th. It says ‘It’s Glowtime’ and has a glowing Apple logo.
We can expect the new iPhone 16 models at the event, along with the new Apple Watch Series, and the Apple AirPods 4.
iPhone 16 series
The iPhone 16 series is expected to get the customizable Action Button and a new Capture Button. The phones are expected to get an A18 chip with support for Apple Intelligence features. The iPhone 16 Pro series is expected to get a new 48MP ultra-wide camera and 5x Telephoto cameras.
The iPhone 16 Pro is said to get a bigger 6.3-inch screen, and the Pro Max is expected to feature the largest 6.9-inch screen.
Apple Watch 2024
The new Apple Watch, “Apple Watch Series 10,” could get a thinner design and a new magnetic mechanism for bands. There are also reports of new Apple Watch SE and the Apple Watch Ultra.
The notable health features could include detecting hypertension and sleep apnea. Blood pressure monitoring on the wrist will detect hypertension, while sleep measurements and breathing patterns will identify sleep apnea.
Airpods 4 with ANC and New design
The fourth-generation AirPods are expected to get an updated design, a redesigned case with Find My alerts, and a USB-C charging port. The higher-end version could include Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), providing ANC at a more affordable price point. There will be a separate Pro version that is planned for 2025, according to reports.

The in-person Apple event will begin at 10AM PT (10:30 IST) on September 9th and will also be streamed from Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park.
