After releasing the Android 15 beta update back in May, iQOO and vivo have started registrations for the Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15 trial / preview program for the iQOO 12 and vivo X100 Pro smartphones today, August 28th.
How to register for iQOO 12 and vivo X100 Pro Funtouch OS 15 trial?
- Check if the phone has been updated to the latest software version 14.0.13.3.W30.V000L1 (iQOO 12) / 14.0.19.2.W30.V000L1 (vivo X100 Pro) or above
- Navigate to Settings > System Update
- Tap the Settings Icon
- Select Trial Version, agree to the terms and fill the required details and submit
- Once the roll-out begins, go to Settings >System Upgrade to download the Funtouch OS 15 preview
The companies said that there are slots for 500 users only for each device, and the Funtouch OS 15 trial program will launch on September 4th, so those who are selected will get to download the trial only after that.
If there is any change due to uncontrollable factors, the company will notify testers at the earliest. Before the update, the companies recommend the phone data be backed up and that the backup be confirmed as comprehensive and effective.
