FUJIFILM X-T50 mirrorless digital camera launched in India


FUJIFILM India has announced the launch of the Fujifilm X-T50 mirrorless digital camera, the latest addition to the X series.

The X-T50 is a compact and lightweight camera, weighing approximately 438g. It features a 40.2 megapixel “X-Trans CMOS 5 HR” sensor, an “X-Processor 5” engine, and a 5-axis in-body image stabilization system with up to 7.0 stops, ensuring high image quality, performance, and mobility.

Equipped with the new “FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR” zoom lens, the X-T50 also includes a Film Simulation dial on the top plate for easy mode switching and color tone adjustments. Its round-shaped design enhances grip and portability.

Image Quality and Performance: The X-T50 boasts a 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor and a high-speed image processing engine. It offers an improved pixel structure for enhanced light capture, normal ISO 125 sensitivity, and a maximum electronic shutter speed of 1/180000 sec.

AI-Based Autofocus: Powered by AI and deep learning, the autofocus system detects a variety of subjects, including animals, vehicles, and drones, with an advanced AF prediction algorithm for fast-moving subjects.

Film Simulation Modes: The camera provides 20 Film Simulation modes, including “REALA ACE,” for diverse color expressions. The digital teleconverter function allows for 1.4x and 2x magnification.

Enhanced Shooting Range: The 5-axis in-body image stabilization system with up to 7.0 stops ensures stable handheld shooting in low-light conditions. It supports 6.2K/30P video recording with tracking AF and AUTO mode for automatic scene adjustments.

Design and Usability: The new round-shaped body improves grip and comfort. The Film Simulation dial facilitates intuitive mode switching. A pop-up flash integrated with the viewfinder adapts lighting for dark or backlit scenes. The camera also features a 1.84 million-dot, tiltable rear LCD monitor and an optimized button layout for ease of use.
