motorola has officially announced the edge 50 neo, the company’s latest smartphone in the edge series for the global markets, after rumors. Similar to the edge 50, this comes with MIL-810H standard and also has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance.
However, this has a smaller 6.4-inch flat pOLED display with up to 3000 nits peak brightness. The phone replaces the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition 4nm SoC with the Dimensity 7300 SoC.
It has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone features a 50MP rear camera with Sony LYT-700C sensor, 13MP 120° ultra-wide camera with macro option, a 10MP telephoto camera and a 32MP front camera.
This packs a smaller, 4310mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and the phone also supports 15W wireless charging.

The motorola edge 50 neo comes in Pantone Poinciana, Pantone Lattè, Pantone Grisaille, and Pantone Nautical Blue colours and is price at 499 Euros (USD 552 / Rs. 46,350 approx.) in Europe and 449.99 GBP (USD 592 / Rs. 49,700 approx.) in the UK for the 12GB + 512GB model.
It is already rolling out in selected European markets and the UK, and will roll out to selected markets across Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Oceania in the coming months. The phone will be introduced in China as moto S50 on September 5th.
