Samsung has silently launched the Galaxy A06 budget smartphone in the ‘A series’ in India, after it was introduced last month. It has a 6.7-inch LCD screen, which the company says is the largest screen size on the Galaxy A series to date. There is a 8MP camera inside the notch.
It runs Android 14 with One UI on top, and Samsung has confirmed 4 years of security updates and 2 generation of OS upgrades.
The phone has a 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 comes in Light Blue, Black and Golden colours and is priced at Rs. 9999 for the 4GB + 64GB model and the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 11,499. It is already available from Samsung India eStore, and should be available from offline stores as well.
