Acer has unveiled several new additions to its Copilot+ PC lineup at IFA 2024, including the Swift Go 14 AI, Swift 14 AI, Swift 16 AI, and Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI laptops. The company has also introduced new gaming PCs, such as the Predator Orion 7000 Desktop and Nitro V Laptops.
Acer Swift Go 14 AI
The Acer Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-01) is powered by a Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor with up to a 3.4 GHz clock speed and an integrated Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 45 TOPS.
It supports up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage, with a battery life of up to 28 hours for video playback. The 14.5-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display features a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB color gamut, and RPF 50 rating for reduced blue light.
Additional features include dual DTS Ultra speakers, a 1440p QHD IR camera with a privacy shutter, a thin aluminum chassis, and connectivity options such as two USB 4.0 Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The Acer Swift 14 AI (SF14-61/T) features an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with AMD XDNA 2 architecture, offering up to 10 “Zen 5” cores and 50 NPU TOPS for AI processing. It supports up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 storage, with up to 27 hours of video playback.
The laptop offers a choice between a 14-inch OLED WQXGA (2880×1800) display with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 and Eyesafe 2.0 certification or a WQXGA IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and touchscreen capabilities.

The Swift 14 AI and Swift 16 AI models feature lightweight aluminum covers with iridescent icons, a touchpad with an AI Activity Indicator, and easy single-handed opening. They include Intel Partner Security Engine, Microsoft Pluton, Windows Hello, and Acer User Sensing for security.
The Swift 14 AI comes with a 14-inch 3K or 2K OLED display, while the Swift 16 AI has a 16-inch 3K OLED screen, both with Eyesafe 2.0 certification, 90 Hz refresh rates, and HDR TrueBlack 500.
Specifications include up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, and Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports. Both models use recycled plastics, come in recycled packaging, and are EPEAT Gold-registered.

Acer TravelMate P6 14 AI
The lightweight laptop, weighing under 1 kg and running Windows 11 Pro, features Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with up to 120 TOPS AI performance and an integrated NPU, all housed in a carbon fiber chassis.
It has a 14-inch display option in WQXGA+ (2880×1800) or WUXGA (1920×1200) with 400 nits brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.
It supports up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, a 65 Wh battery, Intel Arc graphics, and PCIe Gen 4 SSD for rapid data transfer. The keyboard is designed for quiet typing with 1.55 mm key travel and includes a microphone mute key.
The TravelMate P6 14 AI features a touchpad that lights up with an AI logo when the NPU is active. It includes the TravelMate Sense app with AI tools and security features include a QHD IR camera, a privacy shutter, Acer User Sensing Technology, and Acer ProShield Plus.
The laptop is MIL-STD 810H certified, has Acer Dust Defender, and supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and various ports. It is made from recycled materials, meets EPEAT and TCO 9 sustainability standards, and offers Intel Evo edition options.
TravelMateSense software assists with IT management, workflow customization, and system health, while Acer Office Manager helps with IT asset management for offices without dedicated staff.

Copilot+ PC and Acer’s Suite of AI Features
Acer’s Copilot+ PCs offer advanced AI features, including the Cocreator tool for generating images from descriptions, Live Captions for translating speech in 44 languages, and Windows Studio Effects for enhancing virtual meetings. The Copilot key provides quick access to these AI functions.
Acer’s AI applications include AcerSense for system management, Acer PurifiedView 2.0, and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 for better online communication, along with Acer LiveArt and Acer Assist. Acer User Sensing automatically locks the screen when the user is away and supports quick log-in with Windows Hello.
Copilot+ AI experiences will also be available on Swift devices through free updates later this year.
Predator Orion 7000 Desktop and Nitro V Laptops

The Predator Orion 7000 desktop, model PO7-660, is designed for high-end gaming with next-generation Intel processors and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.
It features the new Predator CycloneX 360 system fan and a CPU liquid cooler to ensure efficient cooling. This setup improves cooling efficiency by 15% and lowers motherboard temperatures by 9°C compared to previous models.
The desktop supports storage of up to 4 TB HDD and 6 TB PCIe M.2 NVMe SSD and includes three months of PC Game Pass. For connectivity, it offers Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 7.
Acer Nitro V 14
The Nitro V 14, model ANV14-61, is a compact and portable gaming laptop with a unique pearl white finish.
It has a 14.5-inch display with WQXGA (2560 x 1600) or WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 3 ms overdrive response time. It is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU.
It also includes up to 32 GB DDR5 memory and up to a 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. The laptop features a MUX switch for improved graphics performance and advanced battery management with AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors.

The Nitro V 16, model ANV16-71, is aimed at productivity and multimedia use with a 16-inch WQXGA (2500 x 1600) display at 180 Hz.
It is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, with up to 32 GB of memory and a 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD. Its cooling system includes dual fans with quad-intake and quad-exhaust to prevent throttling.

AI Features
All three models leverage NVIDIA’s Ada Lovelace architecture and DLSS 3.5 technology for enhanced performance and visuals. They also feature AI-driven noise reduction and background replacement through the NVIDIA Broadcast app.
Windows 11’s Copilot AI assistant is accessible via a dedicated key for quick help and inspiration, and the webcams support Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice 2.0 for clear video and voice communication.
