On Thursday, Lenovo introduced new Yoga and IdeaPad models at Lenovo Innovation World 2024. These additions, including updates to the Lenovo Copilot+ PC and ThinkPad series, aim to boost productivity and creativity with AI technology.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition (15″, 9)
The Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition (15″, 9) is equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, an 8-core hybrid setup, a high-performance GPU, and an NPU providing over 45 TOPS for advanced AI tasks.
It supports up to 32GB of 8533MHz RAM and 1TB of SSD storage, with a 70WHr battery for extended use. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and Thunderbolt 4. The laptop is certified carbon-neutral and includes a 2-month Adobe Creative Cloud membership.
Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 (14″, 9) AMD
The Yoga Pro 7 (14″, 9), designed for demanding workflows, features an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor with up to 50 TOPS of NPU capability for high-performance AI tasks.
It includes Lenovo X Power Software Accelerate for faster previews and rendering, and X Power Hardware Boost for system cooling. The laptop has a 14-inch PureSight Pro OLED display with 2.8K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and full Adobe RGB, P3, and sRGB coverage.
It also offers a Soft Touch-coated keyboard, dual speakers, four microphones with noise cancellation, and an FHD IR camera. Connectivity options include USB 4.0, USB 3.2, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. It weighs 1.54 kg and measures 15.6 mm thick.

Lenovo IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 (14″, 9)
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 (14″, 9) is a convertible laptop powered by the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor with a 45 TOPS NPU for efficient AI tasks. It features 16GB of Dual-Channel LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
The 14-inch 16:10 WUXGA OLED touch display provides 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a 60Hz refresh rate. Weighing 1.49 kg and 17.5 mm thick, it is portable, meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, and has a metal A-cover.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x (14″, 9)
The IdeaPad Slim 5x (14″, 9) is a laptop designed for portability, power, and durability. It features a Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of TLC 2242 SSD storage for fast AI-enhanced performance.
The optional 14-inch 16:10 WUXGA OLED display provides high color accuracy. With a full-metal chassis, the laptop meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, is 16.9 mm thick, and weighs 1.48 kg.
It includes a 57WHr battery, an FHD RGB camera with a privacy shutter, two full-function USB Type-C ports (DP 1.4, PD 3.0, data transfer), two USB Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, a microSD card reader, an audio jack, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3. An optional backlit keyboard is available for low-light use.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 Series
The IdeaPad Slim 5 Series comes in 15-inch and 13-inch models, both powered by AMD Ryzen 7000 processors. The 15-inch model supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of M.2 SSD storage, while the 13-inch model offers up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Both models feature a Copilot key for quick access to Copilot features. The laptops have an ultra-thin, all-metal design with Lenovo’s silk aluminum, making them lightweight yet durable. The 13-inch model weighs 1.15 kg and has a 54Whr battery, while the 15-inch model weighs 1.49 kg and has a 70Whr battery.
Display options include a 15-inch 2.5K OLED screen with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a 13.3-inch WUXGA display with 100% sRGB coverage. Both models include FHD IR cameras with privacy shutters, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, a microSD card reader, an audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Lenovo Creator Zone
Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Creator Zone, a new application designed to enhance creativity by generating and editing images.
This tool, first introduced at CES 2024, utilizes a specialized version of Stable Diffusion 3.0 from Stability AI to transform user inputs into images quickly and efficiently.
Key Features
- Text-to-Image: Users can input a text description and receive four generated images based on that text, facilitating quick visualization of ideas.
- Sketch-to-Image: By sketching an image and adding a brief text description, users can generate four images that combine both elements, streamlining the development of visual concepts.
- Image-to-Image: Providing a reference image along with a text description allows Lenovo Creator Zone to produce four variations of the reference image, useful for exploring different styles and themes.
- Advanced Image Editing: The application includes comprehensive tools for modifying images, such as background changes, image merging, and color adjustments, offering a complete solution for refining visual content.
Lenovo Creator Zone will be available as an optional download for Lenovo Yoga devices with discrete GPUs, starting with the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i in October. Support for additional Lenovo Yoga devices will follow.
Additional Software and Services
Lenovo Vantage and Lenovo Smart Performance will further enhance Lenovo Yoga and IdeaPad laptops by offering device optimization, performance monitoring, and improved security. In case of issues, the Premium Care Plus service provides expert technician access, fast repairs, accidental damage protection, and software support.
