UNISOC’s 5G and 4G platforms get Android 15 upgrade


UNISOC today announced that it has successful upgrade of its 5G mobile platforms, including the T820, T770, T765, T760, and T750, as well as its 4G platforms such as the T620, T619, T616, T615, T612, and T606, to Android 15.

This upgrade enhances performance, boosts security, and introduces new features that will elevate user experiences, said the company.

Android 15 is a significant upgrade that enhances productivity, media capabilities, and device adaptability while also reducing battery consumption. UNISOC’s chipsets, now powered by Android 15, offer improved app performance, stronger privacy and security measures, and a more refined user experience across various devices.

As part of the upgrade, UNISOC has introduced a frame rate stabilization scheme tailored for gaming, integrated into both software and hardware, alongside a resource management center within the UNISOC Framework.

Enhancements across the board, including optimizations in CPU, algorithms, audio, video, and AI Codec technologies, deliver a seamless and powerful performance for a wide array of applications, said the company.

It added that it has aligned its upgrades to the latest Android releases for several years, since Android 11 and is committed to consolidating technical support for customers, improving user experience, and reducing the total cost for customers by optimizing the upgrade process, enhancing system compatibility and stability, and providing customized solutions.

Regarding this, a UNISOC executive said:
