OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 surfaces in benchmarks, beats Apple A18 Pro

After the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD) device surfaced in Geekbench listing, OnePlus 13 with the model number PJZ110, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has surfaced in Geekbench listing.

This reveals better scores compared to the latest Apple A18 Pro chip, which was introduced in the iPhone 16 Pro earlier this week.

The single-core Geekbench score of 3216 and multi-core score of 10051 is better than the 2884 single-core and 8840 multi-core scores in the Qualcomm QRD device.

According to Geekbench listing, the Apple A18 has 3,409 single-core score and 8,492 multi-core score that are 18% better than the Apple A17 Pro chip, but the multi-core score is less than the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

The listing also reveals Android 15 and 16GB of RAM for the phone. Earlier rumours revealed other specifications of the phone including a 6000mAh battery.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 configuration?

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has 2 x prime cores clocked at 4.32GHz, 6 x performance core clocked at 3.53GHz, which will likely be the final clock speed. This uses Qualcomm’s self-developed Nuvia CPU architecture for the first time.

It has Adreno 830 GPU, and TSMC’s 3nm process. UWB+NB-NTN+NPU, and AI has also been greatly been improved powering the next wave of flagship phones that will all boast AI, according to reports.

Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are said to be the first phones to use the chip, so we can expect the phones to be introduced in China as early as October, soon after the launch of the chip at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 that starts on October 21st.
