Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K 55″ and 43″ models in India, after the launch of 32″ model earlier this year. The company says “FireTV Goes BIG” since this is the first time it is launching a 55-inch FireTV model.
The company has confirmed metal bezel-less design, 4K HDR support and MEMC with Reality Flow that we had seen in older Redmi TV models. It should run Fire TV OS 7 with over 12,000 apps, including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+Hotstar, and much more.
We can also expect Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS: Virtual X technology, AirPlay and more features.
The company already has a 55″, 50″ and 43″ Fire TV models for the global markets that were launched as Xiaomi TV F2 back in 2022.
Xiaomi has started teasers for the ‘Diwali with Mi’ sale, and the TVs should be available at discounted rates during this sale in the coming weeks. We should know more details, including the price, when the next-generation Redmi Smart Fire TV 4K models are launched next week.
