Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors with Xe2 graphics launched in India

Intel on Thursday announced the launch of its Intel Core Ultra 200V series processors in India, following their global debut earlier this month.

Code-named “Lunar Lake,” these x86 processors are designed for advanced AI-driven PCs and feature over 80 consumer designs from more than 20 major manufacturers, including Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Samsung.

Intel Core Ultra 200V Series Overview

The Intel Core Ultra 200V series aims to provide high performance, improved power efficiency, enhanced graphics, application compatibility, security, and superior AI computing.

This series introduces the new Xe2 graphics architecture, delivering a 30% average improvement in mobile graphics performance. The integrated Intel Arc GPU features up to eight 2nd Gen Xe-cores, eight enhanced ray-tracing units, and supports up to three 4K monitors.

It also includes Intel Xe Matrix Extensions (XMX) AI engines that deliver up to 67 TOPS (tera operations per second) for creative applications and gaming performance.

Intel has partnered with leading independent software vendors (ISVs) to create a robust ecosystem with over 500 optimized AI models to maximize the AI capabilities of PCs powered by these processors.

The Intel Core Ultra 200V series is the first to be manufactured by TSMC, using the N3B (3nm) process for the compute tile and N6 for the platform tile, offering up to 20+ hours of battery life during productivity usage.
