Update: HONOR has confirmed that the HONOR 200 Lite will pack a 6.7-inch (2412 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED Sunlight Display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring vibrant colors and exceptional clarity even in direct sunlight.
It will feature ultraslim bezels, offering a 93.7% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience and 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth and responsive playback.
The HONOR 200 Lite offers seven-fold eye protection by integrating a range of eye-comfort features, aiming to redefine users’ lifestyles with a more comfortable and healthier viewing experience.
Recognized with TÜV Rheinland certifications, the device comes equipped with Circadian Night Display technology that guarantees a more optimal and soothing visual experience. It incorporates advanced eye-care technologies, including 3240Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain and minimize blue light, and adjusts the screen’s color temperature to improve sleep quality.
The company has also confirmed (8GB+8GB) RAM and an expansive 256GB of internal storage. The HONOR RAM Turbo technology will optimize memory usage and processing speed. This ensures smooth performance even with multiple applications or demanding tasks like gaming and multimedia editing, providing a responsive and efficient user experience, said the company.
Earlier: HONOR has confirmed the launch of HONOR 200 Lite smartphone in the HONOR 200 series in India on September 19th.
The company highlights 108MP Main Camera (f/1.75 aperture), Wide & Depth Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and Macro Camera (f/2.4 aperture). It says that the phone can capture 1x Environmental Portrait, 2x Atmospheric Portrait, and 3x Close-up Portrait. There is an AMOLED display with support for 3240Hz PWM Dimming.
It also has a 50MP Front Camera, featuring AI Wide-angle Selfie functionality that adjusts to a 90° Field of View (FOV) for group selfies, ensuring everyone fits into the frame. There is also Selfie Light.
The HONOR 200 Lite is 6.78mm thick and weighs 166g, and the device is built to withstand everyday wear and tear and accidental drops, earning an SGS 5-star Drop Resistance certification, said the company.
The HONOR 200 Lite will come in Starry Blue, Cyan Lake, and Midnight Black colours and will be available for purchase on Amazon.in, explorehonor.com, and at mainline stores after the launch. We should know the price when the phone is launched next week.
