ASUS today opened pre-orders for the Zenbook S 14 (UX5406), featuring the Core Ultra 7 Processor 258V (Series 2). This announcement follows its global debut at IFA 2024 earlier this month.
The Zenbook S 14 sports a 14.0-inch 3K OLED touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2880 x 1800 resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches 500 nits peak HDR brightness and is paired with a backlit chiclet keyboard.
It is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2), which delivers up to 47 NPU TOPS for enhanced AI performance and is integrated with Intel Arc Graphics.
The laptop comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage. It features a 72Whr battery that supports fast charging, recharging from 0-50% in 30 minutes.
The design includes a Ceraluminum lid, combining ceramic warmth with aluminum durability, and a keyboard with 2,715 CNC-machined vents to optimize cooling. Audio is provided by a four-speaker system tuned by Harman Kardon.
For connectivity, the Zenbook S 14 offers various I/O ports, including 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (up to 10Gbps), 2x Thunderbolt 4 (up to 40Gbps), and 1x HDMI 2.1 TMDS.
Audio includes a 3.5mm combo jack, while a built-in array microphone supports the FHD camera with IR functionality for Windows Hello. Wireless features include Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4.
The Zenbook S 14 introduces ASUS’s Copilot+ PC features, which integrate Windows AI and ASUS AI applications, all running on Windows 11 Home.
ASUS ExpertBook P5405
Alongside the Zenbook S 14 (UX5406), ASUS also introduced the ExpertBook P5405, designed for AI-driven business computing. It features Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with up to 47 NPU TOPS and 115 total platform TOPS, optimized for AI applications.
The laptop integrates ASUS AI ExpertMeet tools for enhanced online meetings, including AI transcript, translation, subtitles, summaries, camera, noise-canceling, and business watermarks.
The ExpertBook P5405 offers extended battery life, multilayered security with BIOS-level protection, Secure Boot, and a discrete TPM. It also includes an optional SafeGuard Backup tool for encrypted data protection and comes with a year of McAfee+ Premium Individual Unlimited.
The laptop supports a standard international warranty with coverage for the adapter and offers extended service packs for up to five years. Additionally, the ExpertBook P5405 reflects ASUS’s commitment to sustainability, using industrial recycled aluminum alloy, post-consumer recycled steel, and recycled magnets.

Pre-orders for the Zenbook S 14 (UX5406) are available on the ASUS Exclusive Store, ASUS eShop, Amazon.in, and Flipkart at Rs. 1,49,990 for the 32GB + 1TB model in Zumaia Gray. The official launch is set for September 25, 2024, in India.
The ASUS ExpertBook P5 is set to be available for purchase in India in the fourth quarter of 2024.
