TECNO POP 9 5G launching in India on September 24


TECNO Mobile has confirmed the launch of TECNO POP 9 5G, the company’s next budget smartphone in the ‘POP’ series as the successor to the POP 8 which was a 4G phone.

Amazon hints that the phone will be priced under Rs. 10,000 and said that it will be the first phone in the segment to feature a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, will come in 4GB RAM with additional 4GB of virtual RAM with memory fusion, and come in 64GB and 128GB storage option.

It will also come with Infrared sensor, feature IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance, pack stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, feature a 120Hz screen, which should be an HD+ panel. The company has also confirmed, 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and will also be the first phone in the segment with NFC support.

TECNO says that it will offer over 4 years of lag-free performance, and it will come with two free skins inside the box. The TECNO POP 9 5G will be sold on Amazon.in, after the launch, and we should know the exact price when it goes official next week.
