Samsung has launched the Galaxy M55 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the M series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
It has up to 8GB of RAM, has a 50MP rear camera with 1.5˚ OIS and VDIS along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro cameras. There is a 50MP front camera for the phone.
The phone runs Android 14 with One UI 6, and the company has promised 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates for the phone. It equipped with Samsung Knox Vault, a unique hardware-based security and tamper-proof solution.
It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging, but it doesn’t come with a charger in the box.

Pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy M55s comes in Thunder Black and Coral Green colours and is priced starting at Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 22,999.
It will be available from Amazon.in, and Samsung India online store as well as retail stores starting from September 26th.
