Redmi Note 14 Pro+: 6200mAh silicon-carbon battery confirmed

After revealing the design and the launch date, Xiaomi today confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will pack a 6200mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is the largest ever battery used on a Redmi phone. To remind you, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had a 5000mAh battery.

The company has also confirmed 90W fast charging for the phone, compared to 120W in the Note 13 Pro+. For the first sale, the company will be offering five years of battery warranty, providing free battery replacement.

The self-developed battery used in the Note 14 Pro+ is the first to land in the mid-range, featuring 814Wh/L energy density, breaking Xiaomi’s new record, which is 30% more than other models. The customized 2.8V supercharging chip achieves super low temperature endurance. This promises four years of ultra-long life.

Based on rumours, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will pack a 5500mAh battery, compared to 5100mAh in the Note 13 Pro, while retaining the 67W fast charging.

We should know the display, SoC and more details of the phone in the coming days, before the Note 14 Pro series go official on September 26th.
