TECNO has launched the POP 9 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.6″ Dot-In HD+ display with segment-first 120Hz display and Dynamic Port feature for notifications.
The phone has Dolby Atmos, and Stereo Speakers. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, comes with 4GB RAM with additional 4GB of virtual RAM with memory fusion, and in 64GB and 128GB storage options. TECNO says that it will offer over 4 years of lag-free performance.
The phone packs a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, features IP54 ratings for dust and water resistance, is the first phone in the segment with NFC support. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The TECNO POP 9 5G comes in Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky and Aurora Cloud colours with two additional back panel skins in the box. The phone is priced at Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB model and the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 9,999.
The phone is now available for pre-order from Amazon.in and will go on sale starting from October 7th. With the Rs. 1000 bank offer, the effective starting price of the phone is Rs. 8,499.
