Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy surfaces in benchmarks

After renders, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938B) benchmarks have surfaced on Geekbench revealing new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy for the phone, 12GB of RAM and Android 15.

The single-core Geekbench score of 3011 and multi-core score of 9706 are less than the scores of OnePlus 13 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 that surfaced recently, but according to leaker Ice Universe these are not final results.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy will use 2 x prime cores clocked at 4.47GHz, compared to 4.32GHz in the standard 8 Gen 4 model, while retaining 6 x performance cores clocked at 3.53GHz. This uses Qualcomm’s self-developed Nuvia CPU architecture for the first time.

It is said to feature Adreno 830 GPU clocked at up to 1250MHz, and use TSMC’s 3nm process. Even though this reveals only the 12GB RAM version, the company is also said to release a 16GB RAM version of the phone.

We will have to wait for the Galaxy S25 series till next year, since Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro should be the first phones to use the chip, soon after the launch of the chip at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 that starts on October 21st.
