Sony MDR-M1 Reference Closed Monitor Wired Headphones launched in India

Sony India today introduced the MDR-M1 Reference Closed Monitor Headphones, designed for music creators, audiophiles, and sound engineers who need to produce music in various environments while retaining the intended sound quality.

The MDR-M1 headphones feature a closed acoustic design that ensures high sound isolation while providing a lightweight and comfortable fit. This structure allows users to work as if they were in a professional studio, offering studio-quality sound suitable for various music production and high-resolution audio tasks.

Designed specifically for studio use, the closed acoustic structure enhances sound isolation, enabling precise monitoring essential for accurate mixing and mastering by eliminating background noise and maintaining sound integrity.

Additionally, the ergonomically designed build reduces ear fatigue during extended use, allowing audio professionals to focus on their work without distraction. The headphones are durable and come with two detachable cable lengths (6.3mm and 3.5mm) and easily replaceable earpads.

The MDR-M1 headphones utilize a specially developed driver unit that achieves ultra-wideband playback from 5Hz to 80kHz. This driver features a soft edge for powerful low frequencies with minimal distortion and a hard dome shape for accurate ultra-high frequency reproduction.

Their closed structure reduces ambient noise and prevents sound leakage, making them ideal for detailed audio monitoring and tuning. A tuned port, called Beat Response Control, enhances diaphragm performance for improved bass response.

Additionally, Sony collaborated with renowned sound engineers, including Mike Piacentini and Akihiro Nishimura, to ensure the headphones provide an authentic music experience.
