OnePlus and BOE are teaming up once again to introduce X2 (Oriental) Screen, after the companies partnered for the OnePlus 12. OnePlus China head Louis Jie said that the OnePlus has completed the outdoor lighting test of this screen at the BOE technology exhibition.

In terms of screen quality, last year’s OnePlus 12 ‘Oriental Screen’ BOE X was already the pinnacle. Soon, the ‘second-generation Oriental Screen’ BOE X2 will bring even more outstanding performance, and will be far ahead of others.

The phone recently surfaced in Geekbench benchmark, revealing single-core Geekbench score of 3216 and multi-core score of 10051, beating Apple A18 Pro chip. Louis Jie said that game frame rate and energy efficiency of this generation of chips are excellent.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the screen could be around 6.82-inch with 2K resolution and feature uniform bezels for a quad-curved screen.

He added that HUAWEI Mate XT, vivo X200 series, OPPO Find X8 series, iQOO 13, realme GT7 Pro, HONOR Magic7 series, and HUAWEI Mate70 series will use BOE screen.

OnePlus 12 featured 4500 nits peak brightness, P1 display chip, 8T LTPO panel, 2160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, and a pixel density of 510PPI. We can expect the OnePlus 13 to exceed this, and the phone is also said to pack over, 6000mAh battery.
