Lenovo Chromebook Duet and Chromebook Duet EDU G2 laptops announced

Lenovo on Tuesday launched two new 10.95-inch convertible Chromebooks: the Chromebook Duet (11″, 9) and Chromebook Duet EDU G2, both featuring 2K displays and designed to balance performance and style.

Lenovo Chromebook Duet (11″, 9)

The Chromebook Duet (11″, 9) features a sturdy metal chassis with Corning Gorilla Glass, along with a soft protective folio. Meanwhile, the Chromebook Duet EDU G2 is built for toughness, featuring a rugged case and detachable keyboard, making it ideal for education settings.

Both models offer flexibility, with the Duet (11″, 9) featuring a kickstand for easy transitions between laptop and portrait modes. It also includes the Lenovo USI Pen 2, which fits into the kickstand, allowing users to sketch, take notes, sign documents, and organize ideas in Goodnotes.

Weighing under 1.2 lbs. and just 0.3 inches thick, the Lenovo Chromebook Duet (11”, 9) is lighter and more compact than most books. Its 2K, 400-nit display provides clear visuals, even outdoors, and the battery lasts up to 12 hours.

Built to be durable, it is MIL-STD 810H certified to withstand bumps and splashes. Optional accessories include a folio keyboard and stand cover, weighing less than 0.65 lbs. and 0.35 lbs. respectively.

Powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 838 processor, with up to 8GB RAM and an AI-enabled NPU, the device offers improved AI processing, better palm rejection, and enhanced camera performance.

It includes an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera with a privacy shutter, dual USB-C ports for 4K display connectivity, and two speakers with SmartAMP and Wave Audio.
