iPhone SE 4 with 6.1″ OLED display, A18 chip, 48MP camera expected in early 2025

Details about the iPhone SE 4 or iPhone SE 2025 model surfaced back in 2022, soon after the iPhone SE 3 was introduced. Now, Digitimes reports that Apple has started to source OLED displays for the phone.

It is said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED 460ppi Super Retina XDR display, similar to the iPhone 14, according to 9to5Mac. The phone is said to feature the latest A18 chip from the iPhone 16 series and include support for Apple Intelligence.

However, instead of Qualcomm modem, this is said to get Apple’s own modem for the first time. For the cameras, this is said to get a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera from the iPhone 15, but drop the ultra-wide camera.

There are chances for it to get a battery similar to the iPhone 14’s battery, but the exact capacity is not known yet. Since it is expected to use a 3nm chip, it should be more power efficient. Also, it is not clear if this will get the 25W Magsafe charging from the iPhone 16 series.
