Circle to Search with Google

The Circle to Search feature enables users to quickly search for anything displayed on their phone.

By circling, highlighting, or tapping any part of the screen, users can select text, images, or videos to find more information without switching apps. This feature simplifies the search process, making it easier to explore content that piques their interest.

HONOR’s AI Ecosystem

In its announcement, HONOR highlighted the importance of AI in shaping future lifestyles and its dedication to AI development through ongoing research and industry collaboration.

Earlier this year, the company introduced its Four-layer AI Architecture to encourage widespread adoption, blending on-device AI with cloud capabilities for improved security via HONOR’s Personal Cloud Compute.

AI Capabilities of HONOR Magic V3

Launched at IFA 2024, the HONOR Magic V3, developed in collaboration with Google, incorporates advanced AI features such as AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation, and HONOR Notes.

It also includes AI Defocus Eye Protection and AI Deepfake Detection technologies to address health and safety concerns, while running on MagicOS 8.0.1, which introduces features like Magic Portal and Magic Capsule for enhanced user convenience.

Speaking about the advancements in AI, George Zhao, CEO of HONOR, said,

Enhancements in AI are transforming how we work, learn, shop, create, and interact with our devices. Whether it’s translation assistance, help with homework, or simply wanting to learn more about an image on social media, smartphones have become the go-to tool for finding this information.

As a human-centric technology brand, HONOR is committed to making AI accessible to everyone. Through our close collaboration with Google and by introducing this feature across two of our popular smartphone lines, we’re unlocking a world of information at people’s fingertips, delivering a new level of convenience in daily life.
