LG Optimus 2X would get the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update this month says LG India in their Tweet. The LG Optimus 2X launched in India this April and it runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). It was expected to be available in June or July but it got delayed. LG has officially confirmed earlier this week that the LG Optimus 3D would receive the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) along with lots of enhancements. They have already confirmed the update last month for Europe on their Facebook page.
According to their tweet it will be available by the end of this month but the exact date and the new features are not available as of now. We will definitely keep you posted as we receive any information regarding it.
