Lionsgate Play offers 7 days free streaming with ‘Gatecrash Lionsgate’ campaign in India

Lionsgate Play has introduced its latest festive campaign, ‘Gatecrash Lionsgate,’ providing viewers free access to the platform for seven days, starting from October 18, 2024.

This campaign lets users enjoy a week of unlimited entertainment, including the Indian premiere of Paris Has Fallen, the newest release in the popular Has Fallen franchise. Following the premiere on October 18, new episodes will drop weekly.

To promote ‘Gatecrash Lionsgate,’ two humorous ad films have been released, capturing the idea of “living in the head.” These ads, created by Havas Media, depict relatable characters immersed in everyday scenarios while imagining iconic movie moments.

The campaign emphasizes how Lionsgate Play’s vast selection of critically acclaimed titles and fan-favorite franchises can satisfy every entertainment craving.

Marketing Strategy

Anushree Bhardwaj, VP of Marketing for Lionsgate Play South Asia, explained that the campaign aims to remind audiences that the entertainment they seek is just a click away.

“This is one gatecrash you wouldn’t want to miss!” she said, highlighting the creative mix of print, digital, and social media efforts to bring Lionsgate Play’s extensive library to life and attract audiences to its premium global content.

7-Day Free Access

From October 18 to 24, viewers will have free access to Lionsgate Play’s collection of globally renowned titles.

  • The platform’s vast library includes highly praised films such as Past Lives, Gaslit, Tokyo Vice, and Normal People.
  • Additionally, users can enjoy blockbuster franchises like John Wick, The Hunger Games, and Saw, along with upcoming titles The Iron Claw, The Beekeeper, and The Bricklayer.
  • Viewers can also stream prestigious award shows such as the Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and BAFTA Awards.

From October 18 to 24, audiences can access all content on Lionsgate Play free of charge for a full week.
