HMD Fusion gets a symbiote Smart Outfit prototype in collaboration with Venom: The Last Dance

HMD introduced Fusion smartphone with smart functional cases last month. Today, the company has opened pre-orders for the US markets, and has also introduced world’s first symbiote Smart Outfit for HMD Fusion in collaboration with Venom: The Last Dance that is releasing this week.

The unique Smart Outfits for the new Fusion smartphone comes with symbiotic qualities. The Venom: The Last Dance Outfit is an innovative smart outfit that comes with 160 electromagnetic arrays that control a Venom-like liquid – ferrofluid – in a glass chamber that can be attached to Fusion via six pins on its rear cover.

Once attached, the Venom: The Last Dance Smart Outfit alters Fusion’s physical appearance and ‘Venomizes’ its software, akin to how Venom and Eddie Brock are bonded together as a fused entity in the film, said the company. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar to the original HMD fusion.

When the outfit is attached, and the Fusion boots up, you hear “We are Venom,” followed by an animation from the latest movie.  The device includes movie-themed easter eggs, such as an alarm sound that chimes, “Eddie, the time has come,” and a notification alert that yells, “Who sent that thing?” in Venom’s voice.

There is a voicemail message that says, “Eddie, I’m with you till the end.”
The ringtone features another famous line from the upcoming movie: “We are screwed,” voiced by Venom. There are also custom Venom wallpapers.

Pricing and availability

The HMD Fusion comes in single Black colour, is priced at USD 299.99 (Rs. 25,220 approx.) for the single 6GB + 128GB model. It will roll out starting this year.
