iQOO 13 to be announced on October 30; India launch teased

iQOO has confirmed the launch of iQOO 13 smartphones at an event in China on October 30th, after the company revealed that it will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC at the Snapdragon Summit.

iQOO India has confirmed that the iQOO 13 will launch in India soon and will be sold on Amazon and iQOO India online store.

realme will be the first phone to launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite in India sometime mid-November, so iQOO 13 is expected in late November or December in India.

The company has also revealed the colours of the phone that includes Isle of Man, White Legendary Edition, Black Racetrack, and Gray. The iQOO 13 rear camera module also adopts the energy halo design, which is turned off by default and can be turned on when needed.

The iQOO 13 will pack a 6150mAh third-generation silicon carbon battery compared to 5000mAh in the iQOO 12. The energy increases while the weight decreases, and the body is still extremely thin and light, said the company.

It will retain 120W fast charging, and there is no mention of wireless charging. iQOO also confirmed that iQOO 13 will feature self-developed gaming chip Q2, which brings PC-level 2K texture super-resolution and native 144FPS super-frame. It will feature multi-layer graphene + 7K ultra-large area VC heat spreader.

iQOO already revealed that the company has partnered with BOE for 2K Q10 6.82-inch (3168×1440 pixels) 2K+ 144Hz flat screen with ultra-narrow screen and world’s first OLED circularly polarized light eye protection technology.

The company has confirmed drum master dual speakers, and 1016H super-large and powerful motor. It is said to get ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and retain IP68 ratings.

We should know the price of the phone when it goes official next week.
