After confirming the launch of Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphones powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite on October 29th in China, Xiaomi has now revealed the design of the phones officially.
The Xiaomi Mi 15 retain the 6.36″ flat AMOLED screen, but it will feature a 1.38mm ultra-narrow four-sided bezels. The image shows quad-curved wrapped middle frame, aviation aluminum one-piece molding, Crater lens design. It will use integrated cold carving process, and has nearly 50:50 weight ratio offering the best feel in the hand, said the company.
The image shows triple rear cameras with f/1.62-f/2.2 aperture, 14mm-60mm, and the 2.6X telephoto camera.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a quad-curved screen with Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0, a ceramic lens DECO design, and a quad-curved wrap-around middle frame. The company has also confirmed that it will be 8.35mm thick, making it thinner than the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which is 8.49mm.
It will also be 213g, making it 10g lighter than the predecessor, and the weight ratio is nearly 50:50, offering the best feel in the hand, said the company.
This has a Square ceramic DECO with aperture ranging from f/1.44-f/2.5, focal length 14mm-120mm, 5X periscope telephoto camera. It will feature Leica Summilux lens, but it is not expected to come with variable aperture like the predecessor since the maximum aperture is only f/2.5. Both the phone should use Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
