Xiaomi just announced the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, the company’s latest tablets at an event in China along with the Xiaomi 15 series, as it had promised.
Both these feature an 11.2-inch 3k 144Hz LCD anti-glare screen with the Soft Light Edition featuring AG nano texture technology + AR optical coating that reduces 99% of interference light, reduces reflectivity by 65%, and better eye protection, so it is clear even under strong light, and frosted texture, with the focus stylus, it brings a paper-like experience, said the company.
The Pad 7 is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC and the Pro is powered by slightly faster Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. These feature an unibody metal design. These run Xiaomi HyperOS 2, support PC-level multitasking, PC-level WPS and CAJViewer, supports opening Apple office suites such as Keynote and Pages, and has a global AI smart assistant.
It comes with a new floating keyboard with support 0°-124° stepless adjustment to meet the needs of multiple scenarios, effortless opening and closing, and is more stable. The keyboard has 64-key adaptive backlight and mechanical press touchpad. The back panel and keycaps are resistant to dirt, durable and are easy to clean.
