Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition with glow-in-the-dark rear design announced for Rs. 29,999

Nothing just introduced Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition, as it had announced. This has a similar specifications and design as the Phone (2a) Plus, but comes with features that are designed by the community, after over 900 submissions from 47 countries over a period of 6 months.

Using green-tinted phosphorescent material finishes, elements of the back of the phone emit a soft glow in the dark. Like fireflies, the glowing feature can also be functional, allowing you to locate your phone in the dark or indicate your presence, said the company.

It comes with 6 wallpapers, created by the community.  The six wallpapers interpret community connections as machine connectors, opening a world of cables, pipes, microchips and components. All of which are encapsulated within a transparent shell, offering a glimpse into this complex but wonderful community.

The packaging originates from an exploration of Nothing’s design language. It depicts a 3D interpretation of the phone glowing in the dark, focusing on texturing and beautiful details, elegantly incorporating reflective elements.

The creative platform focuses on the idea of finding your own source of inspiration and clarity. The firefly and the illuminated path represent the ability to shine and stand out, even in darkness. The final slogan “community spirit” echoes the idea that leaning on others can help illuminate your individual spark.
