After closed beta earlier this year, OnePlus has opened applications for the OxygenOS 15 Android 15 open beta for the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones in India, as it had promised.
How to apply?
- Confirm if your OnePlus 12 / 12R is updated to the detectable version CPH2573_14.0.0.850(EX01) for OnePlus 12 and CPH2585_14.0.0.832(EX01)or CPH2585_14.0.0.833(EX01) OnePlus 12R
- Go to Settings > Software update (There will be a new version notification of the software update service when you enter the page, please click ‘Download and install’ to update, or you may not detect the OBT version)
- Tap the icon on the top right > Beta program > Release candidate, update now
- Check for the new update, Download & install it
The application period begins today, October 30th and ends on November 5th. The OBT quota is limited, so if you still see ‘No updates available’, it means today’s quota is fully booked. The next batch of new quotas will be released at 12 p.m. tomorrow, said OnePlus.
OnePlus has also provided a rollback package for both the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R models, so that you can go back to OxygenOS 14 any time.
