OnePlus 13 with 6.82″ 2K+ 120Hz LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 6000mAh battery, IP68 + IP69 ratings announced

OnePlus just announced the OnePlus 13, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.82″ BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and gets world’s first DisplayMate A++ ratings for the screen.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with a promise of 3.18 million points on AnTuTu, has support for up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and has 9925mm² VC heat dissipation area.

There is AAC CSA+ 0916 X-axis linear motor (volume 602mm³) which the company calls Bionic vibration motor Turbo that adds rich controller-level vibration effects, adapted to the exclusive 4D vibration of mobile games.

The OnePlus 13 comes in Obsidian with the first ebony wood grain glass, Blue with skin-friendly velvet leather and White that uses a new generation of silk glass technology. The phone has an ultra-narrow micro-arc middle frame, and still retains the three-stage alert slide, on the left-hand side. It has a new integrated antenna and the Alert Slider solution to deliver an enhanced antenna performance for gaming, said the company.

The phone retains the 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor for the main camera, gets a 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT600 3X periscope telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture and OIS. It uses the same camera algorithm as the OPPO’s flagship X8 series.

The newly upgraded “multi-prism reflection structure” periscope offers a more advanced and scientific optical path design that not only makes the periscope module size significantly lighter and thinner, but also achieves faster focusing and clearer capture, said the company. There is also a 50MP 120° ultra-wide camera.

The OnePlus 13 has IP68 + IP69 dustproof and waterproof ratings, and packs a 6000mAh battery with the highest 805Wh/L energy density for a dual-cell battery, support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge up to 100% charging in 36 minutes and 50W wireless flash charging, and also supports magnetic charging.
