This makes Nxtra by Airtel the first data center in India to use AI for predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and streamlined automation. Their goal is to:
- Increase asset life by 10%: Real-time performance analytics will identify early signs of deterioration and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Reduce non-IT power consumption by 10%: AI will help identify energy loss in equipment.
- Increase equipment performance by 15%: AI-driven fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) algorithms will enable preventative maintenance.
- Improve productivity by 25%: Proactive insights will be used across all data center operations.
Nxtra is using Ecolibrium’s SmartSense AI platform. After a successful implementation in their Chennai data center, they plan to roll out this technology to all their core data centers. By using AI/ML algorithms, Nxtra aims to improve cost savings, efficiency, and deliver better user experiences to its customers.
