HONOR has introduced HONOR X9c 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the X series in Malaysia, after it was introduced as HONOR X60 Pro in China last month.
The phone packs a 6.78″ 1.5Hz 120Hz AMOLED screen with up to 4000 nits peak brightness, has Risk-free Dimming HONOR Eye Comfort screen for the first time, supporting 3840Hz high-frequency PWM zero-risk dimming.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC with 12GB of RAM and up to 12GB of virtual RAM. It is also expected to come in 8GB RAM version in some markets. It uses scratch resistant glass on the front, has upgraded all-angle ultra tough design, and has IP65M ratings for dust and splash resistance.
The phone has world’s first 5-star comprehensive reliability certified by Switzerland’s SGS, comes with 2m drop resistance and has 166% comprehensive reliability, said the company.
The phone packs a 108MP rear camera, and has a whopping 6600mAh battery with 66W fast charging.

The HONOR X9c 5G comes in Jade Cyan, Titanium Purple and Titanium Black colours and is priced at RM 1,499 (USD 340 / Rs. 28,765 approx.) for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB costs RM 1,699 (USD 385 / Rs. 32,605 approx.) as a part of pre-order offer until 14 November 2024 in Malaysia with freebies total worth RM 1,486 for the pre-orders. The phone is said to launch as HONOR Magic 7 Lite is some markets.
