Nothing has released the Nothing OS 3.0 open beta 2 update for the Nothing Phone (2a), after the first beta release last month. This comes after the stable roll-out in December.
This brings shared widgets feature, but the company said that it is currently only supported between Nothing devices and works only in Photo Widgets (square) can be shared, and the company is rapidly developing support for other widgets. It also said that users might encounter some issues since it is still in beta.
The update also brings quick settings improvements, smart drawer enhancements, camera improvements and visual and performance updates.
How to install OBT2 on Phone (2a):
- Ensure you have already installed NOS 3.0 (build number should be Pacman-V3.0-240923-2135)
- If not, download the following APK and install it from your downloads to install the Nothing OS 3.0 Beta.
- Navigate to Settings > System > System updates
