vivo is gearing up to introduce the vivo S20 series in China soon. After the S20 got certified last month, the specifications of the S20 Pro has surfaced, thanks to leaker Digital Chat Station.
This is said to get a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz quad-curved AMOLED screen, similar to the S20, but use a faster MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC compared to Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. To remind you the S19 Pro uses a Dimensity 9200+ SoC.
The main upgrade is the camera, since this is said to use a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera for the first time, along with the 50MP ultra-wide camera while retaining the 50MP main camera with 1/1.56″ Sony IMX921 sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS, LED flash.
The vivo S20 certification revealed that it will still stick to a 8MP ultra-wide camera and won’t have a third sensor. The S20 Pro is said to retain the 5500mAh (typ) battery but get a slightly faster 90W fast charging, compared to 80W in the predecessor, and retain the optical fingerprint scanner.
