OPPO already revealed the camera features, display features and more for the Find X8 series smartphones ahead of India launch next week, and also started pre-reservations of the phone. Today, the company has revealed details about its design, build quality and the battery.
Display and Design
The Find X8 Series boasts an elegant design with an ‘Infinite View Display’ that features ultra-thin bezels, providing an immersive viewing experience. The devices are remarkably slim and lightweight, making them among the most sleek in their class.
OPPO has incorporated innovative engineering in the camera system. The ‘Cosmos Ring Camera Design’ houses the lenses symmetrically, including two telephoto cameras in the Find X8 Pro. This is achieved through a ‘Triple Prism Design’ and a periscope lens arrangement, which allows for DSLR-grade zooms without compromising on sensor size or camera quality, said the company.
Durability
The Find X8 Series is built to last, with Gorilla Glass 7i protecting the front and back from scratches and drops. The ‘Armour Shield Design’ further enhances its structural integrity, making it IP68- and IP69-certified for superior dust and water resistance, so it can withstand high-pressure water jets at up to 80°C.
Battery and Performance
The Find X8 Series feature ‘Silicon Carbide battery technology’, enabling higher energy density and smaller battery size (5630mAh in Find X8 and 5910mAh in Find X8 Pro). This allows for long-lasting power without adding bulk. The series also boasts fast charging capabilities, including 80W SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, the Find X8 Series promise exceptional performance and power efficiency. The advanced NPU unlocks Generative AI features, enhancing mobile productivity with tools like Intelligent Note-Taking and Document Summarization.
