Samsung Galaxy A26, the company’s next mid-range smartphone in the ‘A series’ has surfaced in the first set of CAD-based renders, thanks to @OnLeaks. This shows a familiar Infinity-U screen and large bezels.
It is said to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7~9.7mm (including the camera bump), making it taller, but narrower and thinner than the Galaxy A25 that measures 161 x 76.5 x 8.3mm. There is new camera deco, and it retains triple rear cameras.
The Galaxy A26 surfaced on Geekbench last month revealing Exynos 1280 SoC, same as the predecessor. It is not clear if there will be a MediaTek version for the Indian market, like the Galaxy A16.
Even though this reveals 6GB of RAM, the phone should also come in 8GB RAM version. It will run Android 15 with One UI 7.0 out of the box, and should come with 6 OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is expected to be introduced sometime in December or January 2025 in the similar price tag as the Galaxy A25 5G.
