OPPO has started teasing the design of the OPPO Pad 3, the company’s next tablet, ahead of the announcement in China. The tablet adopts a metal integrated design and an atmospheric color scheme.
The company has also revealed that the tablet will come in Purple, Blue and Silver colours, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models. The teaser also reveals that it will come with stylus support.
Based on recent rumours, the OPPO Pad 3 will pack an 11.6-inch 2.8K LCD screen, similar to the predecessor, and we can expect 144Hz refresh rate. However, the tablet is expected to switch from Dimensity 9000 SoC to a Dimensity 8350 SoC, which might not be as powerful as the flagship chip. Even the upcoming OPPO Reno 13 Pro is said to use the same chip.
It is said to retain the 9510mAh (typical) battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, and weigh 533 grams, making it 19 grams lighter than the OPPO Pad 2 and will be just 6.29mm thick compared to 6.54mm thickness.
We can expect it to run Android 15-based ColorOS 15 out of the box, quad speakers, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision features. It should support keyboard as well.
The OPPO Pad 3 is expected to be introduced later this November in China along with the OPPO Reno 13 series, and the tentative launch date is November 25th.
