Pebble has expanded its smartwatch lineup with the launch of the Pebble Junior 4G Smartwatch for kids in India. This smartwatch features a 1.7-inch display and comes with interchangeable Lavender and Blue straps, both included in the box, allowing for easy customization.
The Pebble Junior smartwatch also includes a built-in camera for Two-Way video calling and 4G SIM connectivity for voice calls. It supports Live Location Tracking with built-in GPS, offering accuracy up to 250 meters. The device also features Geo Fencing, which sends alerts if your child leaves a predefined safe zone.
The smartwatch operates on Pebble OS. The smartwatch offers two modes—Parental Control and Class Mode—allowing customization to restrict access during school hours. For safety, it includes an SOS button for instant alerts in emergencies.
Additional features include unwanted call rejection, call and message monitoring, remote photo capture, ambient voice monitoring, and watch removal detection. The device can also connect up to 5 family members.
For health monitoring, the smartwatch provides 24/7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and step counting. It is powered by a 650mAh battery, offering up to 48 hours of usage on a full charge (which takes 2.5 hours).
Other features include a stopwatch, calculator, selfie camera, smart notifications, and voice/emoji chat. The smartwatch is also IP67-rated, meaning it is resistant to splashes and spills, making it durable for everyday use.
