OPPO Reno13 and Reno13 Pro with Dimensity 8350 SoC, up to 16GB RAM surfaces in benchmarks


OPPO is gearing up to introduce the Reno 13 series smartphones in China next week. Now the phones have surfaced in Geekbench listing, confirming the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC for the phones.

OPPO Reno13

The OPPO Reno13 with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC is an upgrade to the Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition which was used in the Reno12. This will feature 1×3.35GHz Cortex-A715 Prime Core + 3× 3.2GHz Cortex-A715 Performance cores + 4×2.2GHz Cortex-A510 power efficient cores, a major change compared to the 8250 which used Cortex-A78 and A55 cores.

This is said to use 1.4GHz Mali-G615 MC6 compared to Mali-G610 MC6 GPU in the predecessor. The Octa-Core SoC will use the same TSMC 4nm process.

The Reno13 Geekbench scores are 1251 for single-core and 3974 for the multi-core which is higher than the predecessor. It also reveals 12GB of RAM and will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 on top.

OPPO Reno13 Pro

The scores of the Reno13 Pro are higher at 1538 for single-core and 4697 for multi-core even though it has the same Dimensity 8350 SoC. This is actually a downgrade compared to the Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed ​​Edition. This will get up to 16GB of RAM.

IP69 Dust and water-resistant ratings and underwater mode

OPPO has confirmed that the Reno13 series will be the first Reno series phones to get IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and also come with underwater camera function for underwater photography and video recording.

The phones will come in Butterfly Purple, Galaxy Blue, Midnight Black and Starlight Pink colours.
