Xiaomi just launched the Redmi A4 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone in India, as the successor to last year’s Redmi A3, as it had promised.
It packs a 6.88-inch HD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 5MP selfie camera inside the notch, and is the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC which only supports 5G SA and doesn’t have support for 5G NSA network. It has up to 4GB of RAM with additional 4GB RAM expansion. The phone will get 2 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates.
The Redmi A4 5G comes with a premium looking halo glass back design. The phone packs a 50MP main camera along with a secondary camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and packs a 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging with 33W charger in the box.

The Redmi A4 5G comes in Starry Black and Sparkle Purple colours and is priced at Rs. 8499 for the 4GB + 64GB version and the 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 8,999.
It will be available from Amazon.in, mi.com and offline stores starting from November 27th.
