nubia today introduced the Z70 Ultra, the company’s latest smartphone in the Chinese market, as it had promised. The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It offers up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 PRO storage.
The phone feature a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE Q9+ screen a refresh rate of up to 144Hz refresh rate, screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%, peak brightness of 2000 nits, and support up to 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming.
It runs Nebula AIOS with several AI features such as AI Translate that enables seamless multilingual communication in real-time, breaking down language barriers effortlessly. The phone has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It adopts a new “Starry Dome Soft Sand” back cover process, which has a skin-friendly and delicate touch. It has an all-metal middle frame and a softened design with micro-arc lines.
There is Black Seal and Amber, as well as a Starry Sky Collector’s Edition color option that supports two-way satellite calls and satellite text messages. It is equipped with the latest seventh-generation under-screen camera technology (16MP) and uses a more durable second-generation Dragon Rhino glass. On the back there is a 50MP main camera (Sony IMX906), 50MP (OV50D) ultra-wide-angle camera with macro option and 64MP periscope telephoto (OmniVision OV64B) camera.
The phone packs a massive, 6150mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode technology and 80W fast charging, and is equipped with AI “zero” power consumption 2.0 technology to reduce power consumption when waking up at night.
