REDMI Buds 6 Pro with LHDC 5.0, up to 55dB ANC announced

Along with the REDMI K80 series, Xiaomi also introduced the REDMI Buds 6 Pro, the company’s latest TWS earbuds at its event, as it had promised. For the first time, Xiaomi has used triple drivers in its earphones that include a 6.7 mm piezoelectric ceramic dual driver and an 11 mm titanium-coated dynamic driver.

The acoustic technology has been upgraded again. The treble is clear and detailed, the midrange is full, and the bass is surging. The sound is optimized and tuned by “Xiaomi Golden Ears”, and the high-frequency loudness is increased by up to 10% compared to the previous generation, allowing the grand string scenes to let you hear the layered feel of multiple instruments, said the company.

There is spatial audio, MIHC, LDHC 5.0 and LC3 audio codecs. It supports Deep Space Noise Reduction 2.0 offering 55dB noise reduction depth, flagship-level self-developed noise reduction algorithm, and also supports sliding adjustment function. It has 3-mic AI ENC that can block wind noise up to 12m/s during calls, says the company.

It promises up to 36 hours of total battery life and comes with fast charging that promises up to 2 hours of playback with 5 minute of charge.

It has an ultra-low latency of 20ms and upgraded 67W fast charging, supports high-fidelity LHDC Lossless audio codec.

This also includes Xiaomi’s first wireless microphone function, with a maximum transmission distance of 130m while retaining the same audio tech from the standard version.
