vivo S20 and S20 Pro with 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP front and rear cameras announced


vivo has introduced the S20 and S20 Pro smartphones in the S19 series in China, as it had promised. The phones feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED BOE Q10 panel with 3840Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. The S20 has a flat screen and the S20 Pro has a quad curved screen.

The phones feature a 50MP autofocus front camera. The S20 has a 50MP main camera, and a 8MP ultra wide angle camera. The Pro model has a 50Mp IMX921 sensor, 50Mp ultra-wide angle camera and a 50Mp IMX882 3X periscope telephoto camera with CIPA4.5 camera-level image stabilization, and macro option.

The S20 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC same as the predecessor and the S20 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, an upgrade from Dimensity 9200+ in the predecessor. The company claims AnTuTu score up to 2.25 million points.

The phones come in new Phoenix Feather Gold colour with photolithography and embroidery craftsmanship, thousands of flashing lines shape the golden silk phoenix feathers like brocade. The Purple Air from the East has a unique texture in each back cover is unique with magical cloud craftsmanship and the flashing visual effect of flowing crystals.
There are also Jade Dew White as clear as jade, and Pine Smoke Ink colours.

Even though the S20 is just 7.19mm thick, it packs a huge 6500mAh battery and the S20 Pro packs a 5500mAh battery. Both the phones support 90W fast charging. These still have an optical fingerprint scanner.
